Cutest Niece Ever.

I'm sure I'm like most aunts who have a countless array of cute pictures of their nieces and nephews and want to boast about them any chance they get.  So here is one of the cutest pics of Roslyn Mae and the cutest quote.  It really does say how much this little girl fills my heart with joy.
I've always loved children and the happiness they bring into my life, but having one in my family is such a joy my heart feels whole.

A Beautifully Blue Summer

This summer has been amazing. Washington saw a whole month of no rain. Filled with blue skies, wonderful long days, spent enjoying the outdoors and time with my family.
This summer I have got to spend so much time with my niece Roslyn. She turned 6 months old on the fourth of July, so we had a fun celebration.
I hope you all are having a great summer!!

Me and Roslyn - she has the bluest eyes!

Updates

Although I've been out of having a computer for a week now, I still want to put up a blog post.
Here are some recent pics from  this summer.
Hopefully I will have my computer back in a couple of days.

Door closes, Open that window.

Sometimes it may feel like a door gets closed on us when we're headed out into the world.
It can be a harsh reality, that not everything goes as we wish.
But I've learned that if I keep my head high, my smile bright, and know that there must be an open window or other doors leading to a better path for me,
and it will all be alright.
The program I wanted to attend at a certain school was cancelled, because of funding,
and that was really hard on me.
I thought I had finally figured out my next direction for my life, but alas,
I'm still in search of that perfect path.

The view from my mom's house helps me remember
that tomorrow the sun will shine,
and will set,
and that life is so beautiful and joyful,
and too short to not soak in the good
and release the bad.
