Snohomish Farmers Market

Today my mom and I had a fun adventure around Snohomish, Wa. We went to a great little restaurant overlooking the river. Snohomish has a cute little downtown area. Full of restaurants, coffee and antiques. We then got to go to the farmers market which was a cute little market. What a great day with my mom.

A beautiful home with a great garden in Snohomish.

Artist Point

Darren and I made it up to Artist Point yesterday which is a beautiful park up in the mountains between the peaks of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuskan. I love it up there!

She Bangs

So, I'm always enjoying changing up my hairstyles... Right now I'm feeling a need to take out the extensions and maybe go a bit darker... Change it up a bit for fall?  I've also been feeling bangs... I think I want to try out a middle part perhaps with blunt bangs that can go either way...  Although I have horror stories about how I cut my own bangs in middle school... yikes.. :)
Here is some of my inspiration:

Jennifer Lawrence - Bardot inspired - Love these bangs & this color.

Nicole Richie is the epitome of perfect hair - love when she has bangs.  Perfection.

No one knows how to set trends quite like Kate Moss. Lovely cut & color.

Who knows, perhaps I'll get some bangs, perhaps I won't.  :)
But I'm feeling the need for a change....

Vegetarian or Vegan?

So I've been wanting to lead a healthier lifestyle.  I've decided to follow a vegetarian diet, and have been reading the book Skinny Bitch.  I did a project in my physics class about the cons of energy usage in farming and agriculture. It showed me the negatives of factory farming. Global warming, pollution of waterways, animal cruelty and a wasteful process have led me to not eat meat.  My main goal would be to follow a Vegan diet.  My boyfriend has helped me to stop drinking milk and I'm trying to not eat cheese.  Cheese will be the hardest thing for me I think.  I just need to find some great Vegan options to try. I know they are out there.  Skinny Bitch preaches about how great a Vegan diet is.  I think I will love all the benefits when I get through to following it.  For about a month now, I have avoided pop.  I was drinking way too much diet pepsi. I have since started with green tea and I'm feeling so much better already.  I'll let you know of how the process goes! So good so far though!!
Also, looks like I will be moving to Atlanta which is quite the exciting thing for me!
